2004 PINOT NOIR
YARRA VALLEY

Hanrahan wines are made from selected parcels of fruit from our own vineyard to form one of the newest boutique labels in the Yarra Valley. A world renowned winemaker from Yering Station has made this 2004 Pinot Noir in a true French style.

With pepper and spice aromas together with plum and white pepper characters dominating the palate,this wine has a balance of tannins, acid and fruit flavour that will see it develop with long term cellaring.

Growing grapes is an agricultural enterprise like any other and faces the same forces of Mother Nature as do wheat and sheep farmers.It is fitting then that we should quote a verse from P.J. Hartigan's “Said Hanrahan”.
